Ruth Ruiz

Lead Teacher

Ms. Ruth is proud to be part of the Temple Shalom Preschool family! With more than 16 years of experience in early childhood education, including over eight years as a lead teacher, she brings exceptional knowledge, leadership, and dedication to the classroom. Throughout her career, she has worked with infants, one-year-olds, and two-year-olds, helping young children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Ms. Ruth earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from University of the East. She also holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, and a Director Credential. In addition, she is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Families appreciate Ms. Ruth's thorough and detail-oriented approach to early childhood education. She consistently goes above and beyond expectations, ensuring that her classroom meets the highest standards not only for the school, but also for all Florida DCF requirements. Her commitment to organization, safety, and quality care helps create an environment where children can thrive.

Emily Samadh

Teacher

Ms. Emily is excited to be part of the Temple Shalom Preschool family! She joined TSP in 2026 and brings six years of experience in early childhood education. Throughout her career, she has worked with infants, one-year-olds, and two-year-olds, including five years as a lead infant teacher. Her experience and passion for working with young children help create a nurturing environment where little learners can thrive.

Ms. Emily is currently in the process of returning to school to complete her degree. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential before graduating high school, demonstrating her early commitment to the field of early childhood education.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Emily enjoys shopping and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts. She loves finding fun and engaging ways to incorporate creativity into learning experiences for her students.

Families appreciate Ms. Emily's caring, patient, and kind nature. She is a dedicated educator who loves helping children learn and grow while building strong partnerships with families. Ms. Emily believes that open communication and trusting relationships are key to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every child feels loved, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Ciera Townsend

Assistant Teacher

Ms. Ciera is excited to be part of the Temple Shalom Preschool family! She brings nine years of experience as a private nanny, where she had the opportunity to care for and teach children of multiple age groups. Her experience has given her a strong foundation in building meaningful relationships with children while supporting their growth and development.

Ms. Ciera earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential while still in high school, demonstrating her early passion for working with young children. She has also completed the required 45 DCF training hours and is certified in CPR and First Aid.

A Florida native, Ms. Ciera loves spending time outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys boating, fishing, drawing, working out at the gym, traveling, and exploring new places. Her adventurous spirit and creativity often inspire the fun and engaging experiences she brings into the classroom.

Ms. Ciera is passionate about building strong connections with every child and creating a classroom where they feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn. She believes that creativity, kindness, and positive relationships help children develop confidence and a lifelong love of learning. Jenna Giuliano

Teacher

Ms. Jenna is excited to be part of the Temple Shalom Preschool family! She brings nearly six years of professional childcare experience, having worked as a nanny for families across South Florida caring for children from 3 months to 15 years old. She has also worked with both Little Angels Nanny Service and the Naples Babysitting Company, gaining experience with children of all ages and a variety of family needs.

Ms. Jenna attended Brookdale Community College and Everglades University, where she earned an Associate of Arts in Humanities and a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine.

She is currently working toward earning her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and completing the required 45 DCF training hours. Ms. Jenna is certified in CPR, AED, and water safety, and she also holds a Zumba Instructor certification.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Jenna enjoys shopping, dancing, cooking, and taking nature walks. She loves staying active and finding joy in creative and healthy activities that she can share with others.

Families appreciate Ms. Jenna's patient, kind, and caring nature, as well as her attention to detail. She is passionate about providing a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow.
