Jackie Ardoline

Rabbi Ariel Boxman

Rabbi Ariel Boxman is the rabbi educator here at Temple Shalom where she directs and develops all educational programs for the congregation, including the preschool.  In addition to this, Boxman serves as one of the spiritual leaders of the congregation officiating at lifecycle events and leading Shabbat and Holiday worship services.  Rabbi Boxman grew up in the Caribbean and currently lives in Naples with her husband Asher and two young boys, Jacob and Matan.  Boxman earned her Rabbinic Ordination in 2012 and her Masters in Jewish Education in 2013. In her free time Boxman enjoys going to the beach, taking aerial silks classes, and trying new restaurants in town. 

Idea Kabashi

Idea Kabashi is from a small country in Eastern Europe called Kosovo. Prior to moving to Naples, Idea was the owner and director of a local preschool. She finished her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Science at Rochester Institute of Technology and her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management at Southern Hampshire University. Due to her academic excellence, she earned the SNHU Distinguished Scholar Award with the highest GPA of 4.0 in her degree program.  As a result, she was nominated from her university to be a member of the National Society for Leadership and Success where she finished the Leadership and Executive Training Program. She was also nominated to be a member of Delta Mu Delta, which is an International Academic Honor Society in Business. She is thrilled and honored to be part of the administration of Temple Shalom Preschool and looks forward to working with the students in our school. 

Julie Fischer 

Director of Admissions and Communications

Julie Fischer is originally from New Jersey where she studied early childhood development before moving to Naples in 2012. Julie spent six years in retail management where she gained valuable experience in customer satisfaction and engagement. In 2017, Julie switched careers to assume the position of receptionist at Temple Shalom where the rapidly growing congregation allowed her the opportunity to use her customer service skills. Soon after, Julie found herself in the position of religious school administrative assistant as well, assisting Rabbi Boxman with the day to day operations of the religious school. Julie is excited to take on the position of preschool administrative assistant for Temple Shalom Preschool. In her free time, Julie enjoys running, going to the beach and watching the New York Yankees. 

Lijena Shurdhi
Receptionist

Lijena Shurdhi is originally from Albania. She has a law degree and a background working in the municipality sector of her country of origin. A few years ago, Lijena moved to Naples where she resides with her husband and son. She is proud to be part of the Temple Shalom Preschool , where she enjoys contributing to the care and development of all the children.
